SDI is excited to announce that the College of Menominee Nation’s Earth Day event is going to be a digital event this year. This event will directly follow the third Shifting Seasons Summit on April 22nd, 2021 from 10:00AM-2:00PM. We will have a lot of amazing speakers at the event, including Indigenous Environmental Activist Winona LaDuke and the Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin Mandela Barnes to name a few. Also as part of the event, there will be a dedication of a Peace Tree on the Keshena Campus. A more detailed agenda for the event will follow.
Registration for the Earth Day event is included with registration for the Shifting Seasons Summit. In order to do that, follow this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc7UBoT2mJSEEQcsjdp-l-9wCD5Gcw8zSJ-f6mtpIvynVk0Lg/viewform and on the third page you can register specifically for the Earth Day event on the 22nd. Be sure to register soon because registration closes on April 14th, 2021. However, we will also take in people who register afterwards up until April 18th. After the 18th, we will not accept anymore registrations.
