The Sustainable Development Institute (SDI) is dedicated to examining sustainability issues and applying them to the Menominee model of sustainable development. This website is devoted to explorations of questions like, what is sustainable development? Answers are offered through multimedia presentations, essays, and conversations on the Menominee, their forest, and their spirit.
The cameras are intended to study various wildlife presence and movement in the areas along the East side of CMN Keshena, WI campus. The photos taken will provide data on different types of species, estimated population density by species, location, movement, time of movement (day/night), etc. This information can be used to design future studies related to topics such as the impact of Deer browse on tree seedlings which affects regeneration success.
