National Report on Sustainable Forests 2003 - This is a USDA Forest Service report that uses the Montreal Process to examine United States forestland.  It also identifies data gaps and makes recommendations for next steps for sustainable forest management in the United States.

First Nations Development Institute - First Nations Development Institute works to restore Native control and culturally-compatible stewardship of the assets they own - be they land, human potential, cultural heritage, or natural resources - and to establish new assets for ensuring the long-term vitality of Native communities.  They use a three-pronged strategy of education, advocacy, and capitalization to achieve their mission.

White Feather Forest Initiative -The White Feather Forest Initiative is a sustainable land-based community economic renewal initiative of the Pikangikum First Nation.  The goal of this initiative is to secure commercial forest management tenure, and forestry and protected areas opportunities within the traditional territories of the Pikangikum First Nation.

Partnership Resource Center -  This organization provides online resources for building vibrant partnerships and effective collaboration on the nation's forests, grasslands, and other special places. The website is a joint project of the National Forest Foundation and the USDA Forest Service.  In May 2005 they published an updated Partnership Guide with information on how to create and maintain successful partnerships.
